Megan Thee Stallion delighted her fans recently by releasing a new album, Megan: Act II. As its name suggests, the project is a continuation of her self-titled full-length, though it was marketed–at least somewhat–as a standalone project. Billboard counts the two as the same, so Megan returns to several charts this week…and even manages to debut on one list as well.

Megan lands on the Vinyl Albums chart for the first time. The set opens at No. 22 on Billboard’s ranking of the top-selling titles on wax all across the country.

Amazingly, Megan marks Stallion’s first trip to the Vinyl Albums chart. She’s scored multiple successful projects in the past on a variety of tallies published by Billboard, but none of them have sold well enough in a single tracking period to land anywhere on the vinyl-only roster.

This week’s Vinyl Albums list is flush with debuts, and this may be one of the busiest frames in recent memory. Fifteen of the 25 available slots are filled with arrivals, and plenty of well-known names beat Stallion. Fellow rap favorites like Eminem and Tyler, the Creator land above her, as do musicians from other genres, like Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, and even Green Day with their beloved American Idiot.

Megan returns to five additional Billboard charts this week, as it appears on a total of half a dozen tallies. The set is a top 10 win on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums lists, where it re-enters at No. 5. It nearly finds its way back to the highest tier on the Top Streaming Albums ranking, as it currently sits at No. 11.

Stallion’s self-titled moved 41,200 equivalent units in the past week, according to Luminate. 8,600 of those were sales, though how many specifically were on wax wasn’t published by the company that gathers consumption data for the music industry and feeds it to Billboard, so those numbers can be used to compile the weekly charts.
