Gospel Music legendary CeCe Winans has shared the key factors that have contributed to her successful Journey since day one in the music industry. 

The multiple Grammy award winner who has been captivating audiences and earning numerous accolades with her unique and amazing songs remains a celebrated icon in the Gospel music industry for decades.  

During an interview with EBONY, Winans share her insights on longevity and the continued legacy she builds through her music and ministry.  

“When I look over my career, over my ministry, all the years that I’ve been doing what I’m doing is just by the grace of God. It’s the kindness of people. It’s the power of Gospel music. It’s always relevant. People need hope. People need peace. People need joy,” she says.

The gospel Icon also expressed her thoughts on music and the legacy it carries when she looks back speaking with EBONY. “When you have something good, powerful music continues, and it doesn’t lose its value over the years. It becomes more valuable. So, it was a great song, I got a chance to sing with “The Voice” (Whitney Houston). I still think to this day, she is one of the greatest voices that we’ve ever experienced.” she stated.
