Charity Lawson is teasing new details about her upcoming wedding to her fiancé, Dotun Olubeko.
The couple — who met, fell in love, and got engaged during season 20 of The Bachelorette — have kept most of their wedding plans under wraps. In a new interview with It Girl released on Friday, Jan. 9, Lawson, 30, opened up about her future nuptials, revealing that there will be many familiar faces in attendance, plus a “cultural component.”
“Dotun is Nigerian, so we’re doing a cultural component of the ceremony,” Lawson said, adding they also plan to have traditional American elements. As for the guests, “There will be a numerous amount of Bachelor Nation people there,” she added.
What’s the one wedding detail The Bachelor alum won’t hint to fans? The date.
“We do [have a wedding date], but I have made it my most thing I’m never sharing to the public, so you guys will know once wedding content starts coming out,” she said. “But I was like, ‘I don’t think I want to share with the public the date.’ Just, you know, people are crazy. Crazy, not in a good way.”
However, the bride-to-be did hint that the wedding will happen this year when she discussed what she’s most looking forward to in 2026.
“Obviously, me getting married,” she said. “That’s like, the big one.”
