After police found her in the trunk of a Tesla registered to musician D4vd, new reports reveal that her body parts were frozen before being discovered inside the vehicle. Law enforcement officials are now eyeing the 20-year-old musician and another individual as suspects.
TMZ reports that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner will probably be unable to determine a cause of death because of the condition of the 15-year-olds remains. Sources told the outlet that all of her body parts were reportedly partially frozen and had been thawing in the trunk of D4VDs abandoned Tesla.
Investigators found Rivas body dismembered and in horrendous condition inside the vehicles trunk on September 8. As a result, the cause of death will most likely be undetermined, TMZ reported.
D4VD, real name David Anthony Burke, is now being viewed as a suspect in the death of Celeste Rivas. According to TMZ, law enforcement officials are treating Celestes death as a homicide. Authoritiesbelieve Burke may have played a role in the teenagers killing.
Following this development, LAPD detectives also identified a second suspect in connection with the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernndez. TMZ founder Harvey Levin and attorney Mark Geragos revealed on their podcast that the second suspect likely did not kill the teen but is suspected of helping dismember her remains. No arrests have been made at this time.
