Getting divorced won’t deter Cardi B from marrying again, okurrr? The “WAP” rapper—who filed for divorce from Offset in 2024 and is currently dating NFL star Stefon Diggs—shared her thoughts on walking down the aisle.
“Yeah, I would get married again,” Cardi told Jenna Bush Hager on the Sept. 16 episode of Today. “I believe in love. I’m like a hopeless romantic.”
The Grammy winner—who shares children Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months, with Offset—joked about her current status in the dating world.
“Everybody knows how devoted I am as a mother, so they just know that it’s like, this is what I come with,” the 32-year-old said. “I come with a luggage, a baggage, a bookbag, a purse. I come with everything.”
And when it comes to the nature of her relationship with Stefon, Cardi painted a sizzling picture.
“Sparkling,” she described their romance. “Fourth of July.”
Cardi and Stefon—who sparked dating rumors in October 2024—officially confirmed their romance in May when they enjoyed a courtside date night at a New York Knicks home game at Madison Square Garden.
As for how the pair met? The “Bodak Yellow” rapper said they connected through mutual friends.
“I thought he was cute,” she said of the athlete. “I was like, ‘Oh, he gotta be mine.'”
And speaking of sports, Cardi expressed support for the New England Patriots wide receiver, amid the start of the NFL season.
“I’m a football fan, I be on the screen on Sunday every day cursing people out. Not yet because I’ve been preparing for my album,” she explained. “But after this whole album thing, I’m going to every single game. Every single one of them.”
As for her breakup from Offset (real name: Kiari Cephus), he addressed the end of their seven-year marriage on his own new album Kiari, on the closing track “Move On.”
“It’s about moving on peacefully,” the Migos alum told the Associated Press in August. “It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on, it’s over and done with.”
