Drake did not just release a new album. He released three of them.
The Toronto rapper dropped “Iceman,” “Maid of Honour,” and “Habibti” simultaneously at midnight on Friday, May 15. The surprise triple album release immediately broke Spotify’s 2026 record for most streams in a single day by a single artist, per Billboard. The three projects contain 43 songs combined.
Drake announced the triple drop as his “Iceman Episode 4” livestream finished. The livestream pulled over 458,000 viewers at its peak and was streamed on CTV News, CP24, and Drake’s own channels. “All 3 albums dropping at midnight from the biggest sound,” the rollout read, Variety reported.
The feature list across all three projects includes Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red (who appears on two songs), Central Cee, PartyNextDoor, Popcaan, Qendresa, Molly Santana, Loe Shimmy, Iconic Savvy, and Stunna Sandy.
“Iceman” is technically Drake’s ninth studio album. “Maid of Honour” and “Habibti” are albums 10 and 11. The three projects serve as his follow-up to 2025’s “Some Sexy Songs 4 U,” his joint album with PartyNextDoor.
As BET.com previously reported, the lead-up to “Iceman” has also been shaped by the lingering tension from Drake’s 2024 beef with Kendrick Lamar. On “What Did I Miss?,” Drake addresses the aftermath of the feud, calling out people who he says “played both sides” rather than support him during the dispute. A song titled “1AM in Albany,” which leaked online May 13 with disses aimed at Lamar and LeBron James, was reportedly removed from the final album.
Memes immediately flooded the internet making fun of the “Iceman” name. Fans created AI-generated album covers with “-man” titles, joking that Lamar would respond with a “Fireman” album.
