Michael B. Jordan and Oprah Winfrey are part of an esteemed assembly of prominent Hollywood figures poised for recognition at the forthcoming third annual fundraising gala hosted by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

The gala is set to bestow the Vantage Award upon Jordan, a distinction that celebrates an up-and-coming artist or scholar contributing to the reevaluation and revision of prevailing cinematic narratives. Simultaneously, Winfrey will receive the Pillar Award, a tribute to her outstanding guidance and backing of the Academy Museum.

In the face of ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, the event’s organizers have received the green light to proceed, endorsed by both WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

Notable actress Sofia Coppola and Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep also stand among the esteemed honorees.

Mark your calendars for the Academy Museum Gala on October 14, a night poised to shine a spotlight on these luminaries.
