Drake and Stake got some bread to hand out to the people. Say what you will about the Boy, but he’s putting money in people’s hands these days. The Canadian rapper’s relationship with Stake has often resulted in major money giveaways, as we saw during Christmas and other holidays. And while Stake’s nine-year anniversary doesn’t quite qualify as a holiday, the company and Drake are treating it as such.

This week, Stake announced that to commemorate the milestone anniversary, Drake will be hopping on a livestream to give away $1 million. The rapper will be streaming live for the giveaway, which begins at 9 p.m. EST on August 8th.

Drake and Stake have been on a roll lately with the giveaways. With the release of ICEMAN and the success of “Janice STFU,” they partnered up to make it up to all the women named Janice who had to deal with the blowback of the song’s title. “Janice Day,” as it was referred to, saw Drake hand out wads of cash to women who got caught in the crossfire of the song’s success.

However, Drake’s also been actively giving away bread on his own accord too. This week, the rapper held his third annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event at Toronto’s Casa Loma, where he dropped a big bag for the attendees. He reportedly gave $50,000 to 10 women in attendance and gifted a G-Wagon, too. In addition, all attendees received $1,000 in cash once they made it inside of the venue.

We can imagine that Saturday’s giveaway will also include some surprise guests, whether it’s some of his streamer buddies or OVO affiliates.

In music-related news, Drake just came through with his first post-ICEMAN drop, a feature on Karol G’s single, “AHÍ.” Make sure you check out the song and rate it here. We’ll keep you posted on any further Drake-related updates.
