R&B Sensation Lemisha Grinstead Mourns the Loss of Her Beloved Sister Irish Grinstead, in a heartfelt Instagram post on Saturday, September 16th, Lemisha Grinstead, renowned R&B singer and former member of the iconic group 702, shared the somber news of her sister Irish Grimstead’s recent passing.
“She has battled for a long time, and now she’s found her peace,” Lemisha wrote in her poignant tribute.
With emotions running deep, Lemisha went on to celebrate her sister’s inner and outer beauty. “That girl radiated as brightly as the stars themselves. Her beauty was not confined to her appearance but extended deep within her soul,” the grieving singer expressed.
Lemisha also shared her gratitude for the joy she experienced while sharing the stage with her late sister, a memory she will forever hold dear. She requested prayers and privacy from their extended family as they navigate this profound loss.
Irish Grimstead’s passing comes 15 years after the tragic loss of her twin sister, Orish, who was one of the original members of 702.
In a touching gesture, on Tuesday, Lemisha Grinstead posted a cherished photo of her two sisters with a heartfelt caption: “These two!! I imagine them in heaven right now, playing their favorite @realtamiaworld song (I hope you know they were HUGE fans), while the other angels tell them to lower the volume because they’re too loud! My love for either of them will never, ever fade! I am a better person because of them!”
