Can you believe it? Before rising to fame as a rapper, Offset, also known as Kiari Kendrell Cephus, kickstarted his entertainment career as a backup dancer at the age of 10. This unexpected revelation traces back to his involvement in Whitney Houston’s music video for “Whatchulookinat,” featured on the late singer’s fifth studio album. 

Offset recently stirred up nostalgia by sharing an old photograph from the set of Houston’s 2002 single on Instagram, dated November 18. In the caption, he proudly declared his early beginnings in the entertainment industry, challenging followers to identify him among the youthful performers. 

Before he became Offset of Migos and Mr. Cardi B, the rap star was once a young dancer featured in Whitney Houston’s iconic video. The video, known for its vibrant energy, showcased Offset at the age of 10 as one of the camera-toting kids grooving alongside Houston. Rumor has it that he also showcased his dance skills for the legendary group TLC. 

Sharing his journey with fans, Offset posted a throwback photo capturing the essence of his early entertainment days with the caption, “I BEEN DOING THIS ENTERTAINMENT GOD MY WITNESS WHICH ONE IS ME???”
