In a remarkable display of musical endurance, Ghanaian entrepreneur Afua Asantewaa has entered the fourth day of her ambitious attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual. 

 The event unfolds at Akwaaba Village in Accra, where Asantewaa’s unyielding determination is matched by a growing crowd of enthusiastic supporters. 

Initiated on December 24 and set to conclude on December 27, 2023, the singing marathon has garnered substantial attention from Ghanaians. Notable personalities, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, graced the occasion on Christmas day.  

Prior to his attendance, Dr. Bawumia expressed his support for Asantewaa on social media, encouraging her to persevere and surpass the record set by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare. 

A stellar lineup of showbiz personalities, such as Nana Ama McBrown, Kwabena Kwabena, Efya, Sista Afia, Afronitaa, Delay, Cina Soul, Clemento Suarez, Akuapem Poloo, Lawyer Nti, Piesie Esther, and OB Amponsah, gathered at the venue to rally behind Asantewaa’s extraordinary endeavor.
