Lil Jon is set to perform in Essex Junction on Sunday, Aug. 31 as part of the Bud Light Concert Series, organizers with the Champlain Valley Expo announced on Monday.
The rapper, who is best known for songs including the smash-hit song “Yeah!” with Usher as well as “Salt Shaker” and “Get Low” with the Ying Yang Twins, is also known for 2000s club favorites like “Turn Down for What” and “Shots” that defined the crunk subgenre.
Lil Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, is also a record producer and member of the group the East Side Boyz, which includes Big Sam and Lil’ Bo.
Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public soon, with presale tickets available using the code LILJON25.
So far, the Champlain Valley Expo has also announced an 80’s night double feature, with rockers Loverboy and 38 Special performing together.
