Missy Elliott has made history once again, becoming the third female rapper in the U.S. to gross over $2 million from a single concert, joining the ranks of Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj.

The announcement, made by Touring Data, highlights Missy’s performance on August 8 at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena, which pulled in $2.050 million in ticket sales.

This success came as part of her “Out of this World” tour, which also featured music legends like Timbaland, Ciara, and Busta Rhymes. The tour kicked off on July 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and spanned 24 cities across North America, including major stops in Oakland, Houston, Brooklyn, and Toronto.

For Missy, this tour was particularly special. “This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts,’” she shared in a statement. “Being the first female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour… I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family!”

The tour’s excitement continued to build as Missy delivered high-energy performances, including surprise appearances by Lil’ Kim to perform hits like “The Jumpoff” and “Not Tonight (Ladies Night).” Missy’s longtime manager, Mona Scott-Young, promised the tour would be “one for the books” and it didn’t disappoint, with fans treated to a nonstop, “OUT OF THIS WORLD” experience from start to finish.

The tour ended on August 22 in Rosemont, Illinois, capping off what is sure to be remembered as a monumental moment in her already iconic career.
