Apple Music, the official sponsor of the 2024 Super Bowl, has announced Usher as the headline performer for the highly anticipated halftime show. The big reveal took place on September 24 through a series of promotional videos, one of which featured a surprise phone call from none other than Kim Kardashian.
In the video, Kim Kardashian, in the midst of her hair and makeup preparations, answers her phone with excitement. “It’s Kim,” she exclaims, “I finally got the answer to those rumors. It’s not about me. It’s about you. You’re doing the Super Bowl.”
Kim goes on to elaborate, “You’re playing the Apple Music Halftime Show in Vegas.”
Usher, seemingly in disbelief, responds, “No, for real, don’t play like that.” To which Kim playfully retorts, “I don’t have time to play. One, I’m busy. Two, you’re doing the Super Bowl.”
Curious about how Kim got this inside information, Usher queries, “How do you know?” Her confident response: “I know everything.”
This exciting announcement comes just two months after Usher concluded his second concert residency in Las Vegas, the very city where the 2024 Super Bowl is scheduled to take place on February 11.
