Unbeknownst to the public, the rapper has been quietly making a significant impact on communities in India for several years.
Working through her dedicated pastor, Lydia Woodson-Sloley, Minaj has been channeling her generosity to villages in India via the Pearl Foundation, as revealed to INSIDER. The financial support she has provided has gone a long way in developing essential infrastructure in these villages.
Among the notable contributions are the establishment of two Computer Centers, one in the village of Ennore and another in Kolathur. Additionally, a Sewing Center has been set up in Thiruvalluvar Nagar Ennore, and a Water Well now stands in the village of Atipattu, providing much-needed access to clean water.
Minaj chose to share her benevolent efforts with the world on Instagram recently, posting a heartwarming video in which villagers expressed their gratitude to the congregation for the water well construction. In her post, she expressed, “This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud.”
In another Instagram post, the rapper shared a picture of a prayer ceremony in India, stating, “I’m proud of our brothers and sisters in India.” She went on to express her gratitude, saying, “God is so good.” Minaj also revealed the aspirations of these communities, stating, “Their desire was to have water wells and places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We’re just getting started.”

Minaj emphasized that her charitable work is an ongoing mission, stating, “Our work is far from done,” and promised to provide more details about her charity work in the near future for those who might want to join her cause.
