Rapper 50 Cent is celebrating after he received three Emmy nominations for the hit Netflix docuseries on his hip-hop rival Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson executive-produced the controversial documentary “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” which nabbed nominations for outstanding documentary or nonfiction series, outstanding directing for a documentary/nonfiction program and outstanding picture editing for a nonfiction program.
“Everybody had something to say when I announced it … now the Emmys got something to say too,” he wrote in an Instagram post sharing the accolades.

The four-part docuseries released in December 2025 highlighted Combs’ rise to fame and then his legal downfall. It included allegations of sexual and physical assault made by his former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura Fine, and the subsequent trial.
Combs was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following the trial that captured nationwide attention. He was found not guilty on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. His original 50-month sentence was shortened back in June, and his new release date is set for February 2028.
Combs still faces more than 70 lawsuits related to allegations of sexual assault, according to USA Today. He has denied all of the claims against him.
Combs has long claimed the documentary was a hit job, as he and Jackson have had a decades-long feud. It began after Jackson accused Combs of being involved in the murder of Notorious B.I.G., an allegation Combs denies.
The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards air on September 14 on NBC and Peacock.
