NBA star Jimmy Butler is facing a lawsuit from Five Star Marketing and Promotions Inc. for allegedly failing to pay $260,000 in rent and causing over $127,000 in damages to a Miami Beach home he leased.

The lawsuit, filed in Florida’s 11th Circuit Court, claims Butler neglected to pay two months of rent at $130,000 per month, according to ESPN. The luxury property, a 5,398-square-foot home with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, is valued at around $10 million.

The plaintiff also alleges Butler changed the locks, denying the property owner and maintenance workers access to the home. Additionally, he reportedly failed to maintain the air conditioning and swimming pool, causing extensive mold damage that required the replacement of ceilings and floors.

Five Star Marketing and Promotions is seeking $257,282 in unpaid rent and the right to keep Butler’s $130,000 security deposit.

Butler, who was recently traded from the Miami Heat to the Golden State Warriors, has not publicly commented on the lawsuit.
