Harry Styles has secured a new milestone in live music after receiving a Guinness World Record for staging the longest consecutive concert residency by a solo performer at Wembley Stadium.
The British singer achieved the feat by selling out 12 successive performances at the London venue, eclipsing the previous record of 10 consecutive shows set by Coldplay in 2025.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford said the achievement reflects the remarkable scale of Styles’ concerts, his artistic influence and the strong support he continues to enjoy from audiences worldwide.
The 32-year-old began the London leg of his Together, Together Tour on June 12, bringing the series to a close on Saturday before an estimated crowd of 80,000 fans.
During the final performance, Styles looked back on his journey with One Direction, expressing gratitude to former bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and the late Liam Payne for their friendship and shared experiences, which he said made his solo success possible.
Styles also reflected on returning to Wembley Stadium, recalling that it was 16 years ago, during his appearance on The X Factor, that he was placed in the group that transformed his life and career.
He thanked supporters for standing by him throughout the years.
One Direction was created in 2010 on The X Factor before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.
Liam Payne died in 2024 at the age of 31.
Since embarking on a solo career in 2017, Styles has won six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards.
His fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., was released earlier this year.
To commemorate the accomplishment, Wembley Stadium unveiled a special banner honouring the singer’s record-breaking run, which expanded from an initial six scheduled concerts after tickets sold out rapidly.
Styles selected London as the only UK stop on the current tour.
Previous extended residencies at Wembley include Taylor Swift, who performed eight concerts at the stadium in 2024.
Following the final show, Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, shared childhood and recent family photographs on social media, celebrating her son’s latest achievement and expressing pride in his journey.
The Together, Together Tour will continue with performances in Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Australia, where the global tour is scheduled to conclude in December.
