The Weeknd has been teasing his upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, for months. The Canadian superstar has already delivered a trio of singles from the soon-to-be-released project, which is expected to drop in January. As the world prepares for what is sure to be another massive collection of pop, dance, and R&B smashes, the musician reaches a major milestone for the very first time in his career.

The Highlights, The Weeknd’s greatest hits compilation, is still hugely popular all around the world, even years after it was first released. The set has now lived on the main albums chart in the United Kingdom for 200 weeks, as of this frame.

The Weeknd has never seen any of his full-lengths hit that momentous figure before, at least not in the U.K. Several of his albums have racked up triple-digit frame counts on the list of the most-consumed full-lengths and EPs in the country, but until now, he hadn’t seen any of them make it to 200 turns.

The singer-songwriter’s second-longest-charting title across the pond remains Starboy, which is up to 186 weeks on the U.K. albums tally. After Hours ranks in third place, with 121 stints on the list. Beauty Behind the Madness, which turned him from a rising talent to a certified hitmaker, is about to celebrate two full years, or 104 weeks, somewhere on the roster.

The Highlights isn’t just holding on, either. The compilation is still present inside the top 10 on the U.K. albums chart. This week, it falls just one space, from No. 8 to ninth place, and it will likely climb again at some point.

Despite it being his longest-charting album, The Highlights never reached No. 1 on the U.K. list. Three of his full-lengths—Beauty Behind the Madness, After Hours, and his most recent release, Dawn FM—have all hit the top spot. Just as many projects have spent time inside the top 10 but haven’t quite made it to the penthouse, including his only singles collection.

The Highlights appears on two charts in the U.K. this week, and it hits 200 weeks on both of them. In addition to the most closely watched ranking for full-lengths, The Weeknd’s compilation also celebrates landing in that special milestone frame on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, where it tumbles from No. 4 to No. 7 this time around.
